May-June marked a nice upswing for Viktor Blom. He decided to skip WSOP tournaments in order to focus on online high-stakes poker games — a strategy that turned out to be good for him! However, not everything went so smoothly. Timofey Kuznetsov had a couple of difficult days in a game against Viktor Blom, although he did manage to end up in the green, in the end!
On July 26, they played at $200/$400 pot-limit Omaha tables. Here Blom, having robbed his opponent for $80,000, won the biggest pot of the day.

Blom raised to $1,360 from the button Kuznetsov three-bet to $4,240, and Blom called. They saw the 2♦K♣4♥ on the flop, and Kuznetsov brought it up to $5,400, and Blom called again. The turn was the 2♠, wish meant a full house for Blom. Kuznetsov checked, Blom (quite logically) bet $12,800, and Kuznetsov called. The river was 9♦, Kuznetsov checked and then paid off Viktor Blom after the latter shoved $39,652. The pot worth $124,504 was sent to Blom.
Later that day, Viktor Blom’s upswing continued as he kept on winning against other players, ending up with total winnings of $490,000 for the day; this helped him get up to $1.9 million for the whole of the year 2017 up to that date. This also pushed his overall lifetime profits on PokerStars to as much as $3.4 million!
On July 27, Kuznetsov and Blom met each other at the $1,000/$2,000 8-game and played for just 12 minutes, Kuznetsov winning $14,900. Then, at the $200/$400 PLO tables, they played two tables simultaneously for about 15 minutes — Isildur1 won $29,700 at one table but Timofey Kuznetsov won $92,100 at the other. Nearly at the same time both players were facing other online pros: Trueteller — Ubersherms and Isildur1 — AmSoGood and his regular rival Raul Gonzalez, so they did not really have much time to kick each other as hard as they could.
On July 29, Trueteller enjoyed a victorious 40-minute morning session against Isildur1. Trueteller won $109,000 from just 22 minutes $1,000/$2,000 8-Game table, and then another $131,700 from 20 minutes at two $200/$400 PLO tables, altogether over $240,000.
Nevertheless, later that day Isildur1 recuperated playing at four tables against the same Raul Gonzalez, having already got himself a nice profit of $284,000.
Two Different Styles and Graphs
Like Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov had been challenging the best online pros at high stake games for a long time, before his true identity was finally revealed to the public. He only came out of the shadows for WSOP 2015 in Vegas!
But their playing styles are very different. Kuznetsov plays in a conservative, restricted way, while Blom can quite often be overly aggressive, and may be prone to talking unnecessary risks. This difference can be clearly seen by the differences in their graphs.
Trueteller is known to be one of the most consistent online poker players. His downswings have never been long and disastrous, and he has never gone into the red. In this respect, the career of Isildur1, who used to win and lose millions in a series of winning and losing streaks, is exactly the opposite!

Poker career[edit]
Kuznetsov plays under the alias 'Trueteller' on PokerStars and has earned over $2,400,000.,[3] as well as a further $2,050,000 under the same alias on the now defunct Full Tilt Poker. In November 2015, he played Phil Ivey in a 30 hour session.[4] He won over $100,000 in two weeks playing online in March 2017.[5]
Kuznetsov finished 4th in the 2015 $500,000 Super High Roller Bowl winning over $2,100,000.[6]
In 2018, Kuznetsov along with Linus Loeliger and Jonas Mols, was ranked by poker player Andres 'Educa-p0ker' Artinano as one of the top three 6-max no-limit hold 'em players in the world.[7] In March 2018, Kuznetsov lost a $157,425.70 pot online after getting all the money in preflop holding A♦A♣ against Mols who held K♦K♠. They agreed to run the board twice. The first board ran out 3♥K♣4♣2♦6♠ and the second board came 6♥K♥9♦7♥3♠ giving the entire pot to Mols.[8][9]
As of 2017, his total live tournament winnings exceed $2,900,000.[10]
